Like you, she's moderately obsessed with candles. She's also the brainchild behind Otherland. During her last semester in business school, she was burning candles every day and realized the transformative power of candles and scents. Inspired, the idea for Otherland was hatched - combining her love for candles and immersive scents, with modern olfactive designs.

"Scent is the strongest trigger of memory and emotion — how can we play into this? How can we take you back to the ‘90s? How can we remind you of your favorite sport or that fabulous cocktail you had on vacation last summer?"

I love unplaceable complex scents; this has been a favorite of mine since 2022. My husband and I had our wedding reception in our house, and this scent was burning all that day (I intentionally picked it for the occasion — layers of earthy groundedness, non-sugary sweetness, and a sparkly spicy je ne sais quoi felt symbolic and perfect), so it’s packed with happy memories too. Please never stop making it!
