During her last semester in business school, she was burning candles every day and realized the transformative power of candles and scents. Inspired, the idea for Otherland was hatched - combining her love for candles and immersive scents, with modern olfactive designs.

Love It!

I just discovered this brand and am in love! I have tried Silk Pajamas and Moonstruck from the guided collection and they are both great! Very unique scents, different from anything out there. They are dark and sexy in the best ways! I love to burn these at night when I am winding down before bed. Love them!

Performance varies tremendously

I was gifted a Rattan candle and fell in love with how it filled the room with scent so I decided (after much agonizing over the price) to buy a 6pack to try other scents. So far I have burned two of them and neither has the throw of Rattan; not even close. My Rattan candle will scent the entire downstairs of my home within 20 minutes and I can even smell it from a few feet away when unlit. Neither of the other two I have burned even register a scent after over an hour of burn time. I haven’t tried them all yet but for the price I honestly was expecting more. I will stick to the Rattan scent for future orders. It is truly incredible.
